Optimally trained: A tight schedule awaited the nearly 50 participants of the Global Service Meeting (GSM), held by KEB every two years at the headquarter in Barntrup.

The broad-ranging course program extended over three weeks and was completely dominated by the sixth generation – the current drive and control technology by KEB.

That includes the multi-axis system COMBIVERT H6, the regenerative supply units COMBIVERT R6, the frequency inverters COMBIVERT G6 and the servo drives COMBIVERT S6.

The goal of the international members of the GSM was to impart knowledge about repair and programming as well as valuable drive and motion control know-how including the functional safety. The framework for training and teaching was provided by the standards, uniformly defined worldwide by KEB and continually improved.

This claim is supported by the introduction of the KEB Wikis as a comprehensive knowledge platform with extensive detailed knowledge regarding repair and service. Moreover, in future all repair data will be recorded and evaluated in a central SAP-system. How important the GSM is for the KEB representations  and local partners shows the international character of the Service Meeting with participants from six continents – the majority from Asia.
