Mitch Randall from KEB UK is the Engineer of the Year. At the Motion Control Awards 2018 (MCI) he was honoured for “a positive contribution to a technically challenging and/or commercially successful product or project”.

Randall is currently working on a number of new and existing projects. He implements our new Safety over Ethercat PLC with both KEB F6/S6 drives along with some high speed applications – ensuring customers can realise the full potential of their applications.

Randall specialises in motion control, helping on numerous high profile applications. He got notable recognition for programming and setting up the tracking cameras for both Beijing and London Olympics especially on the gymnastic Vaulting competitions and the swimming. “Customer testimonials for the MCI Awards show that he is well known and appreciated for his technical skills and project management”, says Tom Skelton, Managing Director for KEB UK. “We are delighted that Mitch won Engineer of the year. Randall has worked for KEB UK as Technical Manager for eight years. He has nearly a 30 year experience in the Industrial automation industry and a background of customer commissioning and problem solving.
